Patio Tolón privacy policy

Patio Tolón, from Canta y Brinca, is a game for young children. It is published by DIALHUB, LLC, in the United States. Questions or requests: support@cantaybrinca.com.

• Players: the picture each child chose and, if a grown-up or the voice setup adds them, a first name, an age, and a favourite animal.
• Work and progress: drawings, game progress, and settings such as the language.

This information is stored only in the app’s storage on the device. Your device’s own backups (iCloud or Google) may include it, according to your device settings. The app never sends it anywhere.

To delete it, remove a player in the grown-ups’ area, or uninstall the app. A copy in your device’s own backup stays there until that backup is replaced or deleted in your Apple or Google settings.

Voice play lets children answer some questions by speaking instead of tapping.

• It is off at first. A grown-up turns it on in the grown-ups’ area, behind the parent gate. Only then does the app ask for the microphone permission.
• The app listens only during a voice turn. A turn is shown on screen while it lasts, and it stops after at most 10 seconds, when an answer is found, when the child taps instead, or when the app leaves the screen.
• The sound stays on the device and is deleted at once. It is recognized on the device by a speech model built into the app. The sound is held in memory only for that turn and is then discarded. It is never saved to storage, never sent, and never shared. The app does not use any online service.
• The words are used only to answer that question. They are compared with the answers that moment accepts. Nothing is kept, except an accepted setup answer (a first name, an age, or a favourite animal), which is saved in that child’s player on the device. A grown-up can view, correct, or delete it in the grown-ups’ area.
• You can stop it at any time. Turn voice play off in the grown-ups’ area, or withdraw the microphone permission in the device settings. Touch play always works.

The app’s only link is to this policy, in the grown-ups’ area behind the parent gate. It opens in your device’s web browser, outside the app. This website has its own privacy page.

The app is designed for children and does not collect personal information from them. Voice audio is used only to respond to the child’s spoken answer and is deleted immediately.

If the app ever changes what it keeps or sends, we’ll update this policy before that version is released, and the date below will change.
