Sing it with actions

  1. Do each action when the song names it: clap for «aplaudir» (“clap”), little steps for «caminar» (“walk”), head and shoulders for «mover» (“move”), a turn for «girar» (“spin”) and bent knees for «saltar» (“jump”).
  2. In the question game, answer «¡Sí!» (“Yes!”) and do the action: hands up, hands down, a little clap, two little steps and a little spin.
  3. On «Ahora muy bajito» (“Now very softly”), everything slow and quiet; on «Más rápido ahora» (“Faster now”), dance without stopping!
  4. At the end, all the moves come back in a row: claps, steps, a turn and, on «¡A saltar!» (“Jump!”), a big jump. It’s a memory challenge.
Singing together:
Sing «Si tú tienes muchas ganas de…» (“If you really feel like…”) and pause before the action so your child can say it and do it.
Good for practicing:
Following directions, opposites (fast and slow, loud and soft) and remembering a series of moves.
